Why do you want me to complete this survey?

The results of J.D. Power studies are used by companies to improve the products and services that you and other consumers like you purchase and utilize every day.    Your opinions produce insights that help brands improve their products and learn about their brand experience. Consumers can view results from our studies on our website at www.jdpower.com

Will you sell my information to someone else?

No, we respect your privacy and never provide or sell contact information/mailing lists.  Your responses are combined with other consumers and only aggregate results are shared with companies.

Where did you get my information?

For many of our automotive studies, we are provided information from an independent third party that has contractual access to state vehicle registrations and other automotive information for market research purposes. In other instances contact information is provided by J.D. Power’s clients. Contact information is used for market research purposes only. We will not try to sell you anything and the information is not sold to other parties.

I am having difficulty accessing the survey.

Please ensure you are typing the full, correct passcode into your computer browser. The browser is located at the top of your screen.

Can I complete the survey by paper?

Unless a paper survey was included in the envelope mailed to you it is not possible to provide you with a paper version of the survey.  We hope you will still consider taking it online.  We’ve made it easy to do so from a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or mobile device.

I’ve misplaced or damaged my paper survey. Can I get another one?

This depends on the survey.  Please email us at JDPower.Surveys@jdpa.com  with your contact information and the survey name. If a replacement is available for that project we will send it out to you.

You will likely receive a follow-up reminder in the mail with another invitation.  If you do not, please email us at JDPower.Surveys@jdpa.com with your contact information and the survey name. If a replacement is available for that project we will send it out to you.

Can you help me to resolve a problem that I’ve got with my product/service provider?

As a third-party market research company, we cannot intercede on behalf of consumers. You will need to contact the company directly. 

Can I request a survey from J.D. Power or provide my comments for a specific study?

Independence and integrity in our research is extremely important to us. That’s why we do not send out surveys on request. Our surveys are sent to consumers whose names are randomly selected from data maintained by independent companies. This helps us avoid any bias in the data.

How can I get my name removed from J.D. Power lists?

Not interested in receiving our surveys? No problem. We respect your privacy and can add you to our do not survey list.  You can opt-out online at: http://businesscenter.jdpower.com/OptOut.aspx
